  Maria's has incredible pizza; their homemade sauce and crust are foundation of truly delicious, memorable pizza. Wharton natives who have moved away, have to go to Maria's for pizza when they're visiting their home town. The restaurant is welcoming, cozy and clean as a whistle. The wait staff is friendly and efficient. If an order is going to take a little longer than usual, they always let you know - but I have rarely had to wait long. The panini's and salads are delicious, as well. I eat there once or twice each week with my mother, and often order pizzas for work and family get-together's.
